Honorable Joseph Muscat, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Malta, invites everyone in the DLT, AI, IOT space to the Blockchain Island for the Malta Blockchain Summit, slated for November 1-2, but with activities lasting up to November 3.
The Malta Prime Minister expresses great enthusiasm to meet the delegates who could collaborate with his government and strengthen the island’s ongoing efforts in making Malta the Innovation Island.
Previously, Prime Minister Muscat addressed the general debate of the 73rd Session of the General Assembly of the UN (New York, 25 September – 01 October 2018) where he passionately expressed a way to solve common problems, “Global problems require global solutions, advocating a global approach does not mean you love your country less than others.”
By saying further, “Better solutions can be found together rather than alone,” the Malta Prime Minister sets the tone for the Blockchain Summit. He warns against the attempt to solve problems with limited local solutions which he predicted would lead to “inevitable implosion”.
A roster of 300 sponsors and exhibitors, world-class speakers and a bevy of the cream of the crop among crypto and blockchain enthusiasts will wow participants during the 3-day affair starting November 1.
More than 5,000 delegates were projected to come to the much-talked Event in the Blockchain World. Expect a buzzing expo and riveting discussions about the world-changing potential applications of Technology as well as AI, Big Data, Quantum Technology and IoT.
Among the main speakers are John McAfee (CEO,Luxcore); W. Scott Stornetta (Chief Scientist, First Digital); Miko Matsumura (Founder, Evercoin Exchange) and many more contributors to ongoing research on blockchain innovations.
A Hackathon and a Technology Pitch are part of the attractions as hundreds of investors eagerly await the lineup of this year’s crop of potential blockchain projects and latest working models of innovative, state-of-the-art gadgets.
For the ICO Pitch feature, every selected ICO will get to pitch live (10 minutes) on the grand stage and face a Q&A session from the official jury members and investors and the audience. It is the participant’s choice to use all 10 minutes for the pitch or do a shorter version leave a few minutes for the Q&A. Apart from the investment, the winner is also granted a dedicated marketing video about their ICO provided by our professional ICO marketing partners.
